Common questions
- I did not get my verification email.
- Check your spam folder first. The email comes from no-reply at doctorappraisal.co.uk. If it is not there after ten minutes, try registering again with the same address: we will send another.
- My account says it is waiting for approval.
- A new account is approved by an administrator before first use. If you have waited more than two working days, contact us with your name and GMC number.
- I lost my phone or passkey.
- Use one of your recovery codes on the sign-in page. If you have none left, contact us. An administrator will check who you are and email you a link to set up again.
- I think someone else used my account.
- Change your password under Account → Security and remove any passkey or device you do not recognise. Then contact us so we can check the sign-in history.
- Can I put patient details in my appraisal?
- No. Never enter anything that identifies a patient. Describe cases without names, dates of birth, NHS numbers or addresses, and anonymise uploaded documents.
- Who can see my appraisal?
- You, your assigned appraiser, and your Responsible Officer at sign-off. Administrators can see it only to give support. Your organisation's administrators see progress only, never content. See the privacy notice.
- My certificate payment went through but I have no certificate.
- Open the module and refresh. If it is still missing after a few minutes, contact us with the email you paid with. We will fix it or refund you.
- How do I download all my data?
- Account → Download my data gives you a full export. Your appraisal PDF is on the appraisal page.
